this is how we roll

We like to put our money where our mouth is. We assume you do too. And, for that reason, we are here to tell you exactly what we stand for. Not into it? Go get your “biscuit” fix somewhere else.

We’re colorful in character. Emphasizing and amplifying Nashville’s colorful and strange nature, our proclivity for the unique allows us to support creatives and uplift the unconventional.

We’re compassionate in creation. By placing compassion— for Earth, for animals, for each other—at the center of our creation, we have committed ourselves to conscious consumption and contributing to the community.

We’re punk in ethos. Combining the two ideologies of veganism and punk, we are and will always be anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-militarist, anti-authoritarian, anti-sexist, anti-racist, anti-homophobic, and pro-animal rights.

1. SUPPORT CREATIVES

Where would we be without creative freedom? Idk and I don’t wanna know. Here are some people we support:

2. UPLIFT THE UNCONVENTIONAL

We’re doing whatever the fuck we want, and we want you to, too. Some unique creations we’ve facilitated are:

3. CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY

Our community is central to our existence, so it is our job to support it. Some things we do to give back include:

4. CONSUME CONSCIOUSLY

It is our duty to ourselves, Nashville and you to operate responsibility. We do what we can and are always looking for ways to do better. Right now, we are:

  • Sourcing ingredients from regional businesses like Suraj Spices & Teas and Spring Valley Farms.

  • Growing our own peppers and herbs seasonally.

  • Composting all packaging and compostable food scraps.

  • Remaining proactive, educated and current on best and safest practices for all.

5. LIVE ANTI-OPPRESSION

We’ve centered our lives around compassion, equity and justice. We believe in and actively participate in the fight for total liberation, and here’s how:

  • Being privately, publicly and proudly outspoken.

  • Standing in opposition to the objectification and commodification of existence and other forms of violence.

  • Acknowledging and challenging our own role in mainstream veganism, capitalism and other hierarchical systems.
